"Whether you think you can or think you can't, either way you are right." --Henry Ford Bio: Passionate about helping others improve their lives through exercise, Sheena has dedicated her life to health and fitness. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in health and exercise science from Rowan University, and her personal training certification from the American Fitness Professionals & Associates.Sheena has over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry that includes working for private, commercial, and corporate fitness facilities. She held management positions at two facilities, including a 40-plus fitness center, where she trained clients with a variety of special needs. Although her extensive experience is an asset for any age client, she specializes in the 40-plus population and women's fitness needs. Sheena's sessions incorporate corrective exercise strategies, resistance, and cardiovascular training for a full-body workout. Sheena spent 18 years playing field hockey, including at the collegiate level where she made it to the Final Four in her senior year as captain. Today, her interests focus on enjoying her three young children. Sheena has two sons and a daughter, and understands the demands of being a working mother and wife. She strongly believes in keeping fitness a priority in her life to maintain a healthy lifestyle and excel in her role as mother, wife, and trainer. She loves the outdoors, the beach, the park, and anywhere she can be active with her family. Her favorite food is a healthy salad, adding proof to the theory "we are what we eat." A fitness journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Sheena wants to guide you along that journey, whether you are taking your first step or are well on your way. She believes it is never too late to start exercising, an attitude that is of great benefit to our members. |
